BARBARA HIRSCH INGRAM
July 11, 1929- November 28, 2016
Our beautiful Mom, Barbara, Baba and Aunt Barbara is now at peace with Daddy (Robert F. Ingram III) in heaven. They were married for 54 years. Our hearts are heavy at this sad time but we are left with the most wonderful memories of such a special, fun and caring lady. She was the very best Mom and wife and we are all so blessed to be touched by the most giving human we have ever known. Lucky us!
Barbara was born in Atlanta, Georgia...

Lucky us!
Barbara was born in Atlanta, Georgia to Henry and Helen Hirsch. She attended E. Rivers, Washington Seminary and Marjorie Webster. She taught Nursery School, worked at Charles Willis and a florist but her most rewarding time was spent volunteering. She worked at the church in the Soup Kitchen and enjoyed her Sacristy group. She was a long-time member of the Atlanta Junior League and spent many hours at the Nearly New.
She loved her family, friends, neighbors, gardening, Coca-Cola, The Varsity, The Colonnade, flowers, music, dancing and all their dogs: Peter, Peggy, Henry, Max, Norman, Bugger, Tiger, Bo Dereck, Brittany, Schnitzel, Black Dog, Early, Late and Celeste (Chaos)! Her passion was tennis, walking, water aerobics, home tours , and antiquing but we really mean - GARAGE SALES !!! Many memories have been made at Wrightsville Beach, Destin, FL, Lake Rabun and 150 Huntington Road!
Barbara is survived by her sister: Helen Hirsch and her niece and nephew: Bebe and Duke
Children: Patterson Neville (David), Annette George (John), Bob Ingram (Jane), Alice Hickman (TA)
Grandchildren: Hunter, Cameron, Ben, Hunter, Bruce (Shelli), Brandon, Andy, Jenny, Anna, Helen and Tripp. Great Grandchildren: Allie and Jacob
We want to give a very special thanks to Brighton Gardens of Buckhead for their tremendous care and love for our Mom. Their star resident had the best attitude and "Sugar Foot "loved you all!
Join us as we celebrate the joyous life of Barbara Ingram!
